Longines and Roland Garros :
A long-term partnership
Since 2007, Longines has been the loyal Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Roland Garros tournament. The winged hourglass brand thus offers its timekeeping expertise to this great Parisian rendezvous, a perfect illustration of Longines’ commitment to the world of sports. As part of this collaboration, the Swiss watch company also looks towards the future and searches for the champions of tomorrow by supporting and setting up competitions that aim to promote sporting activities amongst young people and the values that sport embodies, such as fair play, respect, integrity and fun. Consequently, Longines is holding the Longines Future Tennis Aces for the ninth year running, staging a tournament that brings together the most promising under-13 players from across the globe to compete in a championship worthy of the greatest professional players. Since 2014, Longines has additionally been involved in the initiative “Roland-Garros Junior Wild Card Tournament in partnership with Longines”, which aims to pinpoint the best clay court players from Asia and the Americas to give them the chance to win a wild card for the Junior French Championships. Furthermore, in order to increase its involvement in the tennis world, Longines is also proud to count two tennis legends among its Ambassadors of Elegance: Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf. Both players are committed to their charity work, which the brand actively supports through a range of operations.
