The passionate and perseverant Swiss horse rider, Jane Richard, has represented the elegance of Longines since 2003.
Born into a family with no ties to the equestrian world, Jane Richard only started horse riding as a teenager. Her passion and positive attitude convinced her parents to buy her her first horse, Flamenco. The young rider quickly proved her ability in the discipline. Richard’s first victory came at the age of just 15, at the 1998 Swiss Final Trophy in Kerzers (Switzerland). Since that win, she has consistently ranked among the top 10 riders in her category.
In 2006, she moved to Italy, to the stables of her husband-to-be, Ignace Philips. Over the course of the following years, Richards rode in major international competitions and delivered strong results. Further to the birth of their son in 2011, Jane and her husband took over management of the legendary club, La Madonnina, transforming it into stables that are open to riders of all levels. Alongside this, the Swiss rider continued to take part in equestrian competitions with the same passion and elegance. In 2014, she won the Longines Speed Challenge at the Longines Masters in Los Angeles. Discover Jane Richard's website
