    Longines Global Champions Tour of Hamburg 2019

    The sixth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, was rounded off this Saturday in Hamburg with the remarkable home win of Daniel Deusser on Jasmien v. Bisschop in the weekend’s highlight competition, namely the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Hamburg. Therefore, Longines was delighted to grand him an elegant timepiece as a reward for his great performance.   This prestigious event was the occasion chosen by Longines to highlight the Official Watch of the event, the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision”.     Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of France

    The European Division 1 League of Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ competition got off to a thrilling start on Friday, with Team Switzerland taking the victory in La Baule, ahead of Team Belgium and Team France. The members of Team Switzerland, namely Niklaus Rutschi, Bryan Balsiger, Paul Estermann and Steve Guerdat, were presented with elegant Longines timepieces in recognition for their great performance.   On Sunday afternoon, the Grand Prix Longines De La Ville de la Baule was claimed by German rider Simone Blum on DSP Alice, in front of Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat on Albfuehren's Bianca, second, and Ireland’s Darragh Kenny on Important de Muze, third.   The Official Watch of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations CupTM of France in La Baule was a model from the Conquest V.H.P. « Very High Precision » collection, which represents a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.

    Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM China league – 2nd leg

    On Sunday 26 of May 2019, Hongkongese rider Kenneth Cheng on Fanyface claimed victory at the 2<sup>nd</sup> leg of the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping China League held in Chengdu. Chinese rider Nulahemaiti Lbai on Gulio van de Koelaar took second place followed by compatriot Jiri Galatu on Chalano Gold. As the Title Partner, the Official Timekeeper and Watch of the event, Longines was proud to grant Kenneth Cheng an elegant timepiece as a reward for his great performance.   Over the weekend, Longines had the pleasure to present the Official Watch of the event, the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model, representing a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid 2019

    The fifth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, ended this Sunday in Madrid. The weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid, was marked by the victory of Martin Fuchs (SUI) on Chaplin. To celebrate his achievement the Swiss rider was awarded an elegant Longines timepiece. Over the weekend, Longines was proud to highlight its Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model as the Official Watch of the event. This timepiece represents a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.     Simon Baker is back for the 2019 edition of the Prix de Diane Longines, the epitome of elegance

    The 170th edition of the Prix de Diane Longines will be held on Sunday 16 June at the Chantilly racecourse. With just a month to go before this elegant equestrian event is held at the horse capital, Longines and its Partner France Galop have unveiled the highlights of the 2019 edition during a press breakfast at the Cercle d’Aumale in Paris, which pays homage to Henri d’Orléans, Duke of Aumale, to whom we owe the stunning Domain of Chantilly. The prestigious Prix de Diane Longines – a thrilling day of events with no less than eight thoroughbred races – is the world’s most important race for fillies. For the occasion, the Chantilly racecourse will delight the tens of thousands of spectators with decor inspired by jockey silks: graphic adornments and lovely colours creating a lively and playful atmosphere.    The traditional equestrian event Prix de Diane Longines is also a chance to attend two races the brand lends its name to: the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars and the Prix de la Reine Marie-Amélie Longines, in which young jockeys from all over the world and FEGENTRI (International Federation of Gentlemen and Lady Riders) riders compete. Longines is pleased to time the races, showcase up-and-coming talent and racing amateurs, as well as award the winners with elegant timepieces.   This year, Longines is especially proud to welcome its Ambassador of Elegance, the Australian actor and racing enthusiast Simon Baker, who is sure to add an elegant touch to the event. Simon Baker will have the pleasure of being present at the event’s main race. At the end of the Prix de Diane Longines and accompanied by representatives of the brand, he will present elegant Longines watches to the winning filly’s team.   The “Mademoiselle Diane par Longines” award will be held, like every year, at the Village de Diane, where the 10 most elegant female spectators from the event will showcase their most beautiful outfits for a chance to win the renowned award.     Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Mexico - Coapexpan 2019

    On Sunday 5 May 2019, Team Mexico (composed of Patricio Pasquel on Babel, Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane on Hortensia van de Leeuwerk, Lorenza O’Farrill on Queens Darling and Salvador Onate on Big Red) claimed the title at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Mexico in Coapexpan. Team America took second place ahead of Team Canada. The Swiss watchmaking brand was also proud to present another highlight of the event, the Longines Grand Prix, held on Friday 3 May 2019. This international show jumping competition displayed a 100% Mexican podium with the victory of Lorenza O’Farrill on Calvira, followed by compatriots Andrea Azcarraga on Contendros and Gerardo Pasquel Mendez on Mighty Mouse. Longines had the pleasure to grant the winners of both competitions with elegant watches as a reward for their great performance.   In addition, this event was also the perfect opportunity for the brand to present the Official Watch, a new model form the iconic HydroConquest collection.     Longines Kentucky Oaks & Kentucky Derby, Longines Churchill Distaff Turf Mile 2019

    This weekend, Louisville (USA) beat to the rhythm of horseracing. On Saturday, the Kentucky Derby, also known as “the most exciting two minutes in sports”, took place at Churchill Down. On that occasion, Country House, ridden by Flavien Prat, was declared the winner after disqualification for interference of Maximum Security. To mark their victory, Longines awarded Country House’s owner, trainer and jockey with Longines timepieces before an engaged crowd of spectators.   The Derby race represented the pinnacle of an exciting weekend of sport and elegance, with many highlights on and off the track. Earlier on Saturday, the Longines Churchill Distaff Turf Mile prize was claimed by Beau Recall, ridden by Irad Ortiz, who established a lead over Got Stormy and Daddy Is a Legend, close behind.   On Friday, Longines served as Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the Longines Kentucky Oaks, with an exciting win from Serengeti Empress, ridden by Jose Ortiz. The Longines Prize for Elegance also made an elegant spectacle from the most fashionably attired attendees at Churchill Downs, who worked the pink carpet in their finery, vying for the coveted Longines Prize for Elegance and the chance to win a Longines watch.     The fourth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour gathered this weekend some of the world’s best riders and horses in Shanghai in front of the impressive 63-meter high China Art Palace. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Tour, Longines was proud to be associated with the highlight of the Chinese stage, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Shanghai. Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok attended the event on Saturday, and witnessed the victory of Danielle Goldstein on Lizziemary in the featured competition.
