On Thursday 15 February 2018, Japanese artistic gymnast and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Kohei Uchimura joined the Swiss watchmaking brand in its elegant Boutique in the district of Ginza in Tokyo for the launch of his new Conquest V.H.P. advertising campaign. On this occasion, Kohei Uchimura proudly signed the new campaign visual and was given the opportunity to discover the numerous brand’s collections on display in the boutique with Juan-Carlos Capelli, Longines Vice President and Head of International Marketing. Kohei also expressed how “hugely honored I am to be part of the Longines family, and I believe that the values close to my heart perfectly match with those dear to Longines.” Considered by many as the best gymnast of all time – a discipline in which Longines has been involved since 1912 – Kohei Uchimura is perfectly in line with Longines’ motto “Elegance is an Attitude”, it was therefore natural for the winged hourglass brand to welcome him in the Longines Family of Ambassadors of Elegance. On the same day, the Conquest V.H.P. was presented to a selected group of invited media at the Temporary Contemporary Gallery in Tsukishima, Tokyo. This model represents a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.

Longines was awarded the title of „2017 Fashion Excellence” for its lady collection Longines DolceVita. This is the first award ever granted to Longines by Twój Styl (Your Style) – the leader in the market of upscale magazines for women in Poland. The official gala was held on Friday, Feb. 2 in Warsaw. Fashion Excellence trophies for the best products of the year were awarded by Twój Styl (Your Style) for the 19th year running. The Jury including Polish fashion stars and celebrities decided to reward the Longines DolceVita collection in the „Exclusive Watches” category. Fashion Excellence Award by Twój Styl (Your Style) is a precious award for brands which feature quality, prestige and admiration among the clients on the Polish market. The Longines DolceVita collection impressed the Jury with modern elegance and timeless style of women who have made charm a way of life.
