    Longines FEI World Cup China League - 1st Leg

    On Wednesday 1st May 2019, Patrick Lam (HKG) and his mount Newtime de Baussy claimed the title at the first leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM China League in Tianjin. Chinese riders Yuxing Ma on Elly van de Boslandhoeve and Jirigala Erdeng on Brikibo vd Bosbeek took second and third place respectively. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and watch of the event, Longines was proud to grant Patrick Lam an elegant watch to celebrate his great win. This event was also a great opportunity for the brand to the Official Watch, the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model, representing a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.

    Longines Masters of New York 2019

    The third leg of the Longines Masters series, of which Longines is the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, started off on Friday with the much-anticipated Longines Speed Challenge, in which the riders have to achieve the quickest time, knowing that a fault only leads to a two-second penalty instead of the usual four. This intense event was claimed by Nayel Nassar riding Lucifer V, in front of Kristen Vanderveen on   Bull Run's Faustino de Tili and Olivier Philippaerts on Insolente Des Dix Bonniers.   On that evening, the brand had the pleasure to welcome its Friends of the Brand, French model Ilonat Smet, Canadian producer Alen Palander and Taiwanese actor and singer Marcus Chang, who had already joined Longines during the previous legs of this indoor series in Paris and Hong Kong, thus marking the conclusion of an exceptional journey across the continents. On Saturday, Longines was proud to support as its Founding Partner the Riders Masters Cup, an innovative show-jumping competition that pits the two major equestrian powers, the United States and Europe, against each other in a transatlantic battle. Team Europe, made up of : Pius Schwizer, Edward Levy, Olivier Philippaerts, Darragh Kenny and Harrie Smolders, took the limelight once again following their victory last December, in Paris.   Finally, Sunday afternoon brought to the Longines Masters of New York a thrilling conclusion with a new remarkable victory of Nayel Nassar, his second of the weekend, in the coveted Longines Grand Prix, the final highlight of the weekend. Harrie Smodlers (NED) on Une de l'Othain secured second place, while Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) on H&M Cue Channa 42 took the third place. To celebrate his great achievement, the Egyptian rider was rewarded with the event’s iconic trophy, as well as an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Matthieu Baumgartner, Longines Vice President Marketing.   The Official Watch of the Longines Masters of New York During this world-class show jumping event, Longines was proud to present its new HydroConquest collection, which combines technical excellence and traditional elegance, both hallmarks of the winged hourglass brand.     Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami 2019

    The third leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour gathered this weekend some of the world’s best riders and horses on the sands of South Beach. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Tour, Longines is proud to have timed the victory of Belgium Pieter Devos on Claire Z, ahead of Dutch Harrie Smolders on Don VHP Z N.O.P. and Swedish Malin Baryard-Johnsson on H&M Indiana, during the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach. In recognition of his great performance, Pieter Devos was presented with an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Pascal Savoy, Longines Brand Manager U.S. Perfectly in line with Longines’ motto “Elegance is an attitude”, the elegance of the heart was the Saturday’s key message. During the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach, Longines lent its support to JustWorld International – a charity organization which collects funds to help impoverished children – through the “Longines Clear The Jump” program, in which 200 meals are offered each time the Longines jumps were cleared. In total, today, Longines helped to offer 5000 meals to the beneficiaries of JustWorld International’s actions.     Longines becomes the Title Partner of the Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden

    Passionate about the equestrian world since its very beginnings, the Swiss watch brand Longines is delighted to further strengthen its links with the equestrian sports by becoming the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the Longines PfingstTurnier Wiesbaden. This international fixture, initiated 90 years ago already by the WRFC, will take place from June 7 to 10 June 2019 at the Biebrich Schlosspark and feature events in four disciplines: show jumping, dressage, eventing and vaulting.     Longines Global Champions Tour of Mexico 2019

    The second leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, was rounded off this Sunday by the stunning victory of Belgium rider Jerome Guery on Quel Homme de Hus at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Mexico City. To celebrate his achievement, Jerome Guery was presented with an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President. This great weekend of intense competitions was also the perfect occasion for Longines to present the Official Watch of the event, a new model of its iconic HydroConquest collection, which combines technical excellence and traditional excellence, both distinguished hallmarks of the brand. This timepiece features a bezel enhanced with a coloured ceramic insert adding a touch of brilliance and modern styling. On Friday April 12, Longines unveiled a new all-ceramic version broadening Longines’ HydroConquest collection during an exclusive event held in its Palacio de Hierro boutique, located in the Polanco neighbour of Mexico City. As a world premiere, Longines Vice President Charles Villoz presented to guests and selected media this new timepiece entirely made from black ceramic, whose dial proudly displays its chemical composition: ZrO2.     Longines and the European Equestrian Federation renew their collaboration

    Longines and the European Equestrian Federation (EEF) are delighted to announce the renewal of their partnership. With this new agreement, the two partners will continue to pursue the objectives of developing equestrian sport while promoting the values of fair and safe sport with a strong emphasis on both athlete and horse welfare. Since 2015, the Swiss watchmaker has been the Official Partner and Official Watch of the EEF, as well as the Title Partner of the Longines EEF Rankings and the Longines Brotherhood Programme.   Theo Ploegmakers, President of the EEF comments the partnership extension: “It is my pleasure to announce that Longines has prolonged the agreement as EEF’s Official Partner.     Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Finals Gothenburg 2019

    On 7 April 2019, Steve Guerdat (CH) and Alamo brilliantly made the difference in the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM Final at the Scandinavium Arena in Gothenburg. The winner’s compatriot Martin Fuchs riding Clooney 51 finished second ahead of Peder Fredricson (SWE) and Catch Me Not S. In its role of Official Timekeeper, Longines was proud to time the remarkable performances of these athletes during the whole 2018/2019 season leading up to the Final. The great winner, as well as the second and the third, were presented with elegant Longines timepieces from the hands of Matthieu Baumgartner, Vice President Marketing.   Over the weekend, Longines was also pleased to be associated with the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final, which offered great moments of elegance and emotional sports achievements. The prestigious Title was claimed by Germany’s Isabell Werth on Weihegold OLD, who impressed by the precision of their performance. The podium was completed by Laura Graves (USA) on Verdades and Helen Langehanenberg (GER) on Damsey FRH.   Besides, this edition of the Finals was the perfect occasion for the spectators to discover the Official Watch of the event, a new model from the iconic HydroConquest collection, which combines technical excellence with a sporty silhouette and an elegant style. The brand added reimagined variations to this line in 2018 with timepieces that preserve the traditional style of diving watches, inspired by the unique requirements of the sport.     Longines to become Title Partner of the Longines FEI European Championships 2019 in Rotterdam

    The winged-hourglass brand is delighted to be part of the Longines FEI European Championships 2019, which will be held from 19 to 25 August in Rotterdam (NL) with equestrian top sports events taking place at Kralingse Bos and Kralingse Plas.
