    Longines Global Champions Tour of New York

    Gathering the best international riders and horses in the world’s most beautiful cities for nineteen legs, the Longines Global Champions Tour ended, for the very first time, in a blaze of glory in the vibrant city New York. On Saturday, Ben Maher on Explosion W shined in the weekend’s highlight competition, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of New York. In recognition of his great performance, the winner received an elegant timepiece from the hands of Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President Sales and Andre Agassi, Ambassador of Elegance for the brand. In addition, as New York marked the end of the season, the results obtained by the riders enabled the establishment of the final 2019 overall Longines Global Champions Tour ranking. He was also officially crowned winner of the 2019 Longines Global Champions Tour, while Pieter Devos (BEL) and Daniel Deusser (GER) secured second and third place respectively. In order to honour their outstanding achievements during this year, all three were granted elegant Longines timepieces from the hands of Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President Sales together with Andre Agassi, Longines Ambassador of Elegance and Pascal Savoy, Longines Brand President US. Furthermore, Longines is looking forward to the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, which will be staged in the magical Czech capital Prague from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 November, and of which Longines is the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. During this unique equestrian rendezvous, the winners of each Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix will be invited to compete in this thrilling format to decide who will come out on top of the world’s best athletes as the champion of the champions. Last but not least, this new leg is a unique opportunity for the brand to highlight the Official Watch of the event, a new model from one of its most emblematic lines, The Longines Master Collection.     Longines FEI Jumping World Cup North American League - North Salem

    On Sunday 15 September 2019, America’s Elizabeth Madden and her mount Garant earned first place at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ North American League in New York. American rider Karl Cook on Caillou took second place followed by his compatriot Katherine A. Dinan on Brego R’n B. As the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch of the series, the Swiss watchmaking brand Longines was pleased to present the winner with an elegant watch. This world-class equestrian rendezvous was also the perfect opportunity for the spectators to discover the Official Watch of the event, a lady model from the Conquest Classic collection.     Longines Global Champions Tour of St-Tropez

    The Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show, seventeenth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, gathered this weekend some of the world’s best riders and horses in the idyllic setting of the Pampelonne Beach. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the series, Longines was proud to time the incredible victory of Jessica Springsteen (USA) on RMF Zecilie during the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Ramatuelle/Saint-Tropez. Pieter Devos (BEL) on Claire Z took the second place followed by Simon Delestre (FRA) on Hermes Ryan. In recognition for her scintillating victory, Jessica Springsteen was presented with an elegant Longines timepiece from the hands of Frederic Bondoux, Brand Manager of Longines France.   The spectators present at this equestrian event had the opportunity to discover the Official Watch, a model from the iconic HydroConquest collection. This line combines classic elegance and watchmaking excellence, both distinguishing hallmarks of the winged hourglass brand. Drawing inspiration from the fascinating world of water sports, the pieces from this collection display a bezel enhanced by a ceramic coloured insert, which matches the colour of the dial and brings them a modernized design and sporty silhouette.   The overall Longines Global Champions Tour ranking is an intense battle as there is only one point separating the season’s top two riders Pieter Devos (BEL) and Ben Maher (GBR). Pieter Devos took the ranking lead after finishing second in Saturday’s Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix putting him on 278 points, ahead of Ben Maher (GBR) on 227. The Longines Global Champions Tour will be heading to New York from the 27th – 29th September, where the Finals of the 2019 season will play out and spectators will see which rider will be crowned the overall Champion. Jessica Springsteen’s victory handed her one of the last golden tickets to the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, where she will line up against the winners of the previous legs.

    Longines Global Champions Tour of Rome

    The sixteenth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour gathered this weekend the world’s best riders and horses in the sumptuous arena of the Stadio dei Marmi, ringed by 60 classical marble statues depicting different sports. As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the series, Longines is proud to have timed the victory of Ben Maher riding Explosion W in the weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Rome. The English rider finished ahead of Marlon Módolo Zanotelli on VDL Edgar M and Ludger Beerbaum on Cool Feeling, who secured the second and third place respectively. Longines Italy Brand Manager Fabrizio Giaccon presented Ben Maher with an elegant Longines timepiece as a reward for his great performance. This victory handed him one of the last golden tickets to the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, where he will line up against the winners of the previous legs. Indeed, the winners of the previous legs will be invited to compete in the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, staged in the famous Czech capital Prague, to decide who will come out on top of the world’s best athletes.  In addition, the overall Longines Global Champions Tour ranking battle is an intense affair as there is one last leg before the Longines Global Champions Tour finale, held for the very first time in New York.
