The Longines China Tour in Guangzhou claimed by France’s Olivier Guillon

This weekend, the Longines China Tour in Guangzhou was marked by the victory of French rider Olivier Guillon on Cognac du Vlist Z in the Longines Grand Prix. He was followed by China’s Tongyan Liu on Yu Long Qi Ki and Hong Kong’s Patrick Lam on Freedom.

The French rider also claimed the Longines Challenge on Saturday, and Jeroen De Winter and Zafira and Maodong Yuan on Syrius du Bocoage finished second and third respectively.

The Swiss watch brand Longines is the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the Longines China Tour and as such, the brand highlighted a lady model from the Record collection as the Official Watch of the event in Guangzhou. Featuring a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond indexes, this watch is certified as a “chronometer” by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

Longines’ passion for equestrian sport dates back to 1878, when it produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his mount. Three years later, it can be found on American racecourses, adopted by horse enthusiasts. In 1912, the company partnered for the first time with an international show jumping competition. Today Longines’ involvement in equestrian sports includes show-jumping, flat racing, endurance, driving, dressage and eventing competitions.
