Longines CSIO Schweiz St. Gallen, 2016

June 04, 2016

Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) is the winner of the “Longines Grand Prix der Schweiz” in St. Gallen

It was one of the highlights of this year’s Longines CSIO Schweiz St. Gallen, marked by the celebration of the 15-year partnership between the watch brand and the event: The prestigious „Longines Grand Prix der Schweiz“ was won by German rider Hans-Dieter Dreher and his gelding Cool an Easy. He was followed by Lucy Davis (USA) with Barron on the second and Janika Sprunger from Switzerland with Bonne Chance on the third place. The winner received an elegant Longines watch from the brand’s Vice-President Charles Villoz.

Swiss rider Paul Estermann won the Longines Trophy, awarded to the best rider of the whole event, and was also honoured with a Longines watch.

To fittingly celebrate the 15-year partnership between Longines and the Longines CSIO Schweiz St. Gallen, the company expanded its charity support for JustWorld International. The brand handed over a cheque for 15’000 meals to Jessica Newman, founder and President of JustWorld International, for the benefit of her foundation.

The Official Watch of this year’s Longines CSIO Schweiz St. Gallen was a model of the Longines DolceVita collection. Since its creation, this line has been illustrating the contemporary elegance of Longines worldwide.
