Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won the Longines Global Champions Tour 2016 after a final full of suspense in Doha

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson clinched a double victory in Qatar this weekend. He won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha, followed by Daniel Deusser and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, and he was also crowned winner of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2016. The Swedish rider scored 283 points, while Edwina Tops-Alexander arrived second and Christian Ahlmann third with 267 and 239 points, respectively.

The Longines Global Champions Tour 2016 began in April in Miami and took the top ranked show jumpers in the world to compete in the heart of great cities such as Paris, Shanghai, Mexico and Rome. Longines is proud to be the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper of this international circuit.

The Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha was held in the impressive Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre. This first-class facility offered the perfect opportunity to discover the Official Watch of the event, a model of the Longines DolceVita collection. Since its inception, this line has illustrated the contemporary elegance of the watchmaking brand worldwide. This year, Longines introduced new variations using gold and steel that remain decidedly feminine and glamorous. With its steel case, the Official Watch of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Doha is set with diamonds and features a solid rose gold crown.
