The Spanish leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour was won by Ben Maher

The fourth leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour, of which Longines is the Title Partner and the Official Timekeeper, ended this Sunday in Madrid. The weekend’s highlight trial, the Longines Global Champions Grand Prix of Madrid, was marked by the victory of Ben Maher on Explosion W. To celebrate his achievement, the British rider was awarded an elegant Longines timepiece, from the hands of Juan-Carlos Capelli, Vice President and Head of International Marketing and Elena Orozco, Brand Manager of Longines Spain.

It was also the perfect occasion for the spectators to discover the Official Watch of the event, the new Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model. This timepiece represents a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality, and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance. This timepiece houses an exclusive movement, renowned for its high degree of precision for an analog watch (± 5 seconds/year) and its ability to reset its hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field.

Longines’ passion for equestrian sport dates back to 1878, when it produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his mount.
