Longines officially launches the Conquest V.H.P. Collection in Taiwan
April 10, 2018
On Tuesday 10th April 2018 Longines launched the new Conquest V.H.P. collection in Taiwan, at the Taiwan landmark 101 shopping mall. On this occasion, Longines President Walter von Känel explained the attractive features of the Conquest V.H.P. to the guests. The watches of this collection house a movement developed exclusively for Longines. This caliber stands out for its high degree of precision for an analog watch (±5 s/yr) and its ability to reset its hands after an impact or exposure to a magnetic field, using the GPD (Gear Position Detection) system. It benefits also from a very long battery life and a perpetual calendar.
To celebrate the launch of the new Conquest V.H.P., the Longines Friends, Marcus Chang and Joanne Tseng, joined Longines President Walter von Känel to inaugurate an exhibition illustrating the Swiss watch brand milestones in the quartz history. “Back to the Future of Quartz” will continue for two weeks in the Taipei 101 shopping mall, 4/F metropolis plaza. Numerous pieces from the Longines museum in Switzerland are on display and guests can also appreciate the newest Conquest V.H.P.
Today, the new Conquest V.H.P. represents the ultimate step in the quartz precision worn on the wrist. It is equipped with a movement developed by the ETA manufacturing company exclusively for Longines.Discover Conquest V.H.P.
